Observance of Cleanliness Week

Board of Management Sundar Industrial Estate is observing will be observing it’s Annual Plantation Week starting the 25th of September 2017. A special ceremony was conducted on Tuesday the 19th of September at Sundar Industrial Estate’s Jamia Masjid Park to raise awareness of the week amongst resident industrialists. President BOM-SIE Mr. Muhammad Asif Ali and CEO PIEDMC Mr. Shehryar Saleem were present alongside SVP BOM-SIE Mian Fahim Qamar and VP BOM-SIE Mr. Maaz Mahmood to lead the proceedings.

The event commenced with a plantation ceremony in which Mr. Muhammad Asif Ali Tipoo and Mr. Shehryar Saqib planted saplings in the BOM-SIE park with the help of the horticulture team. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Mr. Shehryar Saqib appreciated the green outlook of the industrial estate and mentioned that Sundar Industrial Estate continues to be the pride of the Punjab Industrial Estate Development and Management Company.

Mr. Muhammad Asif Ali Tipoo iterated his vision for planting 30,000 trees and 3 lakh trees over the next three months, further adding to the greenery and environmental appeal of the estate.

MD SNGPL Visit to Sundar Industrial Estate

February 1, 2017 – Sundar Industrial Estate – The Board of Management Sundar Industrial Estate hosted a meeting with MD SNGPL Mr. Amjad Latif at it’s head office in Sundar Industrial Estate. The occasion served as the setting of several constructive announcements by Mr. Latif, who promised uninterrupted high quality gas supply to the residents of SIE as well as facilitation for new connections. President Haroon Arshad welcomed Mr. Amjad Latif’s on behalf of BOMSIE and thanked him for his goodwill visit to alleviate any concerns of the industrial community.
Sundar Industrial Estate is the flagship industrial estate project of the Punjab government and encompasses 450 leading factories from various industrial sectors. Mr. Amjad Latif commended the Board of Management for it’s outstanding performance and support during the severe energy crisis of the past: “I have said it on several platforms and on many occasions that Sundar is the best industrial estate we have and should be given top priority.” Mr. Latif said that Sundar had stood by SNGPL during the energy shortages of the past and the special relationship between the two organizations will continue.”

He further added: “The efforts of the present government have paid off and we will have an abundance of gas for at least 15 years”. It is through such efforts, he added, that SNGPL will be able to facilitate requests for new gas connections by this coming June.

Senior Vice President Mr. Muhammad Asif Ali, Vice President Mian Fahim Qamar and Past President Mr. Irfan Qadri were also present at the meeting and represented BOM-SIE in the discussion with the SNGPL head.

Mr. Latif also informed BOM-SIE that the current ratio of gas supply for Sundar residents is 28% system gas and 72% LNG, thereby allowing SNGPL to provide gas at special subsidized rates. The Board applauded the vigorous efforts of Mr. Latif and his team in ensuring the supply of LNG. A special focal person was appointed by SNGPL at the request of BOM-SIE to address all future issues, especially with regards to billing.

There was unanimously consensus between both parties that the meeting was the most rewarding of the year for the 450 industries at Sundar Industrial Estate and the announcements will have great benefits for several years to come.

Inauguration of Standard Canteens

After the successful opening of the Executive Canteen at Gate No. 2, The Board of Management is proud to announce the inauguration of it’s first two standard canteens within the estate. The first canteen is located near PepsiCo (Tank #8) whereas the second canteen is located near BOMSIE’s Nursery (Tank #2).

The canteens are part of a comprehensive plan to provide hygienic food for the labourers working within Sundar Industrial Estate. The inauguration shall take place on the 8th and 9th of August, respectively and will be attended by leading members of the BOM.

31st BOM Meeting

The 31st BOM meeting is taking place at the head office of the Board of Management Sundar Industrial Estate. The meeting will focus primarily on the proposed budget for 2016-17 and will aim to balance the planned expenditures of the coming year with true requirements of our resident industrialists.


Inauguration of Executive Canteen

The Board of Management Sundar Industrial Estate proudly announces the inauguration of it’s executive canteen astride it’s main office at Gate II. The canteen will provide high-quality hygienic food for the workers and executives of the estate.

The inauguration ceremony was a lively affair – with special speeches by the chief guests Mr. Irfan Qadri and Mr. Ehson Butt – two prominent members of the Board of Management.
