Also, officials from EPA lab or private lab must be accompanied by a uniformed officer from relevant District Incharge’s office.

The Honorable Lahore High Court has desired strict compliance on water conservation and has banned following activities.
i. Use of water for washing of cars and hose pipes in the factories. Fine of Rs.10,000/- may be imposed for violators.
ii. Flood irrigation of lawns, gardens, golf courses and green belts.
iii. Use of ground water for construction activities.
iv. Immediate closure of all illegal /unapproved car wash / service stations.
v. Ban on use of oil for washing of vehicles.
vi. Installation of car wash waste water recycling system & U channels at all car wash Stations by 28th Feb, 2025.Fine of Rs. 100,000/- shall be imposed, in addition to sealing of car wash area.
