As per Govt.of Punjab Instructions, Police Verification is mandatory for all factory workers.

To avoid long queues, and hassle of going to police stations, SIE has established Punjab Police Helpdesk at Rescue Building BOMSIE to help/facilitate residents for:

. Learner
. Duplicate
. Renewal

Police Verifications

– ⁠Crime / Loss Reporting
– ⁠FIR Copy
– ⁠Tenancy Endorsement

BOMSIE is establishing police Khidmat Markaz in Sundar Industrial Estate, facilitating Police Verification, Character Certificate & Driving License Renewal etc. Govt. charges will be applicable.

BAN ON SINGLE USE PLASTIC

Implementation of ban on single use plastic products and plastic bags less than 75 microns under Plastic Regulation 2023

Govt of Punjab focusing on environmental pollution and smog control. As a part of this drive residents advised to avoid use of such product.

On spot / Surprise Inspection may be carried out & Non compliants are being fined by EPA.
