WASTE MANAGEMENT:
Sundar Industrial Estate has currently almost 490 live production units and hence it is necessary to put up a system of waste management to protect the people and the environment around us.
Solid waste i.e papers, plastic, cardboards and etc are divided into Bio Degradable, Recyclable and Hazardous materials and separate bins are provided with specific color coding to the industries.
Waste is picked up from the industries every 24 hours. Solid waste is dumped at Government designated landfill sites i.e Lakhodair and Mehmood Boti.
Measures are being taken for the efficient management of liquid and chemical waste through CETP.
