As per GOP Notification dated 14-09-2023. It is mandatory to take preventive measures to improve the ambient air quality. Residents are requested to ensure Installation of Scrubbers in Boiler and duly monitor Boilers/furnaces Emissions & construction material to be covered.
EPA inspectors have been advised to take action against non-compliant units and fines ranging from Rs 5000 to 01Million may imposed to ensure the environmental compliance.
